Hyatt Hotels has signed a management-related agreement with LFG Property to manage a Caption by Hyatt Hotel in Sydney, Australia.

This hotel is scheduled to be completed in 2025 and marks the debut of this brand in the country. The hotel will have 174 keys and be located in the Haymarket area of the south of the Sydney CBD. This area is home to major landmarks such as Chinatown, Capitol Theatre, Darling Harbour, the Sydney International Convention Centre, and several universities including Tech Central, an innovative technology precinct.

The arrival of JRL will undoubtedly bring convenience to the residents of JCube Residence. They will be able to make use of the public transportation network to commute to various parts of the city. Additionally, the proximity of the train station to the condo means that residents will benefit from faster and more convenient transportation access. The upgraded transport connections will make it more convenient for residents to access their workplace, educational institutes, and leisure activities. With the addition of the JRL, commuting to different parts of Singapore will be a breeze for the residents of JCube Residence.

The hotel will have an urban industrial design with colours, textures, and hand-drawn graphic art that will decorate social and dining spaces. Caption by Hyatt is an ‘upscale, lifestyle-forward hotel with the flexibility and self-guided options of a select-service property’. The hotel features technologies such as digital check-in, digital keys, and mobile-order food service.

The launch of the Caption brand began with the opening of the first hotel in Memphis, US in 2022. Beyond the Sydney property, Hyatt is aiming to open more Caption-branded hotels in Australia, China, Japan, and Vietnam in the next two years.
