March 4th, 2023

Residents of JCube Condo will soon have added convenience due to infrastructure works in Tengah town. By 2027, they will enjoy direct access to the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) and Jurong, which are currently only accessible via the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE). The new infrastructure works will also bring added convenience to other residents living in the vicinity.

The upcoming works are part of the Tengah town development plan, which includes a new expressway, a public bus service, cycling paths, and pedestrian walkways. The expressway will run parallel to the AYE from Jurong to the northern part of Tengah, cutting the travel time between Tengah and Jurong by up to 20 minutes. The public bus service will connect Tengah to the nearby towns, providing convenient access to the Jurong Lake District, Jurong East MRT station and other amenities.

Cycling paths and pedestrian walkways will also be constructed to promote a car-lite lifestyle. The routes will be well-lit and lined with trees to provide a pleasant and safe experience to users. Separated cycling paths will also be built to ensure the safety of cyclists.

In addition, the Tengah town development plan will include a new park connector along the AYE, which will link up with the existing Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and the Southern Ridges. This will provide more recreational opportunities for residents living in the vicinity.

The infrastructure works in Tengah town will not only bring added convenience to JCube Condo residents, but also to other residents living in the vicinity. The improved connectivity will make it easier and quicker for residents to get to other parts of the island, while the new recreational opportunities will provide them with more ways to spend their leisure time.

The upcoming JCube Condo development in the Jurong East region of Singapore is set to provide added convenience to its residents with the completion of infrastructure works in the nearby Tengah town by 2027.

The Tengah town is slated to be Singapore’s first ‘Forest Town’, and the government’s plans to develop the area include the construction of a new highway, the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE), which will connect Tengah to the Pan Island Expressway (PIE). This will enable JCube Condo residents to have direct access to the PIE, allowing them to travel to both the city and the Jurong East region with ease. The AYE is expected to reduce travelling time by up to half an hour, which is a huge bonus for JCube residents.

Along with the highway, other infrastructure works being carried out in the Tengah town include the construction of new roads and walkways, in addition to the development of a new Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. This MRT line will provide direct access to the Jurong East interchange, and will also be connected to the upcoming Jurong East Integrated Transport Hub, which features a bus interchange, public library, community club and sports centre.

The new infrastructure works in Tengah town will be a boon for JCube Condo residents, as it will greatly improve their access to the rest of Singapore. The completion of the AYE and the new MRT line will reduce travelling time and make it easier for them to get around the area. In addition, the new roads and walkways will create a safer and more pedestrian-friendly environment, while the nearby amenities such as the public library, community club and sports centre will bring added convenience to JCube Condo residents.

On top of the infrastructure works, the government is also planning to develop the area with new homes, businesses, recreational facilities and amenities to the Jurong Lake District. These developments, in JCube Condo addition to the new infrastructure works in the Tengah town, will bring added convenience to JCube Condo residents, who will be able to easily get around Singapore and enjoy the many amenities available in the area.
