Innovation District

Residents of JCube Condo are set to enjoy enhanced connectivity with the opening of a new road interchange in Tengah town. The interchange will connect Tengah to the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) and Jurong Innovation District (JID), providing greater access to the rest of the island.

The new interchange will be approximately 5km long, with a link to the PIE at the junction with Jurong Town Hall Road. This will enable motorists to get to the Jurong Innovation District, which serves as an industrial district for advanced manufacturing, supporting an ecosystem of manufacturers, technology providers, researchers and education institutions. It will also provide an alternative route to the Tuas Second Link and Changi Airport.

The interchange is part of the Tengah town development plan and is expected to be completed by 2035. It will offer two lanes in each direction JCube Condo and feature a flyover at the junction of Jurong Town Hall Road and JCube Condo.

The opening of the road interchange will provide greater convenience for JCube Condo residents, who will be able to access the rest of Singapore more easily for work, leisure and shopping. It will also reduce the current travel time to the PIE and Jurong Innovation District, which can take up to 30 minutes.

In addition to the road interchange, there will also be other mobility solutions for JCube Condo residents, including an 11-kilometre-long sky corridor which will allow pedestrians, cyclists and autonomous shuttles to move seamlessly within the precinct.

The opening of the new road interchange will further boost the attractiveness of the Tengah town as a desirable residential and business hub. It is expected to attract more businesses and talent to the area, and open up more opportunities for residents of JCube Condo.

East

Residents of the upcoming JCube Condo will have an enhanced connectivity with the development of a new road interchange in the Tengah town. The new road interchange will connect to the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) and Jurong East.

The new road interchange in Tengah town is part of the government’s plans to develop the Jurong Lake District (JLD) into a vibrant and sustainable city. With the new road interchange, it will be easier for JCube Condo residents to access the PIE, which is a major expressway in Singapore. The PIE provides direct access to the Central Business District (CBD) and Changi Airport, which is only 15 minutes away.

In addition, the new road interchange will also provide direct access to the Jurong East MRT Interchange, making it easier and more convenient for JCube Condo residents to travel to other parts of Singapore. The Jurong East MRT Interchange is the hub of the East-West and North-South MRT lines, which can take residents to places such as Orchard Road, Chinatown, Little India and Marina Bay.

The new road interchange in Tengah town will also offer JCube Condo residents direct access to the upcoming Jurong East Integrated Transport Hub, which will house a bus interchange, public library, community club and sports centre. This will give JCube Condo residents access to a wide range of amenities and recreational facilities.
