J-Walk: Seamlessly Integrating Jurong Gateway and Lakeside for Easy Accessibility

J-Walk, a covered elevated pedestrian network, is set to revolutionise the way people get around Jurong Lake District (JLD). Connecting Jurong Gateway and Lakeside, the J-Walk will be part of the Jurong Lake District transformation, providing a seamless and convenient access for citizens and tourists alike.

The J-Walk is a network of elevated walkways, linking the key nodes of JLD and will be connected to the upcoming Jurong East Integrated Transport Hub. It is designed to provide a safe and sheltered environment for pedestrians to move from place to place in the district. The walkways will be constructed to a minimum width of 5 metres, with wide enough passages for wheelchairs and prams. Elevators and escalators will be installed for easy access for those with mobility issues.

The J-Walk network will be integrated with the existing public transport network, making it easier for visitors to get around the district.
