Hiap Hoe has taken a major initiative to revamp two of Singapore’s major hotels located at 16 Ah Hood Road and 1 Jalan Rajah by rebranding them to Aloft Singapore Novena. The rebranding operation is expected to begin in the third quarter of financial year 2023 when the company concludes its current management contract, and projected to be completed in the following quarter.

Aloft Singapore Novena marks the arrival of the Marriott Bonvoy’s 30-strong brands set in one of the most densely JCube Residence populated nations in Southeast Asia. The hotel is geared toward a “music-loving crowd”, and is part of Marriott International’s expansive portfolio of 8,200 properties across 138 countries and territories that offer the Marriott Bonvoy travel programme.

Shares in Hiap Hoe have closed at an unchanged 74.5 cents as of Feb 24.

This landmark operation will involve the rebranding of Ramada by Wyndham Singapore at Zhongshan Park and Days Hotel by Wyndham Singapore at Zhongshan Park. Both hotels are expected to benefit from this move, as it will reposition them in the vibrant and highly competitive Singaporean hospitality industry.
