ERA research head Nicholas Mak leaves firm

Leong was the executive director at CapitaLand before joining ERA.
After nearly four years with the firm, Nicholas Mak, head of research and consultancy at ERA Realty Network, has stepped down from his role with immediate effect.
In a March 27 email sent out to the media, ERA’s key executive officer Eugene Lim expressed his appreciation for Mak’s contributions to the firm and wished him success in his future endeavours.
Mak is currently clearing his leave before embarking on his new career journey in the real estate industry. Speaking to the media, he said it was a fruitful four years of learning the culture and practices of the business at the big property agency.
“The past four years here have been a fruitful learning experience about the culture and practices in the real estate agency business,” Mak said.
Prior to joining ERA, Mak had served in head of research and consultancy role at ZACD and SLP International, and had led research teams at Knight Frank and Chesterton International.

After 10 years of providing leisure and edutainment, JCUBE in Jurong East will close in JCube Residence August and make way for a 40-storey, mixed-use development, JCube Condo Residence, with potential launches in the vicinity helping to alleviate pent-up demand for housing.
